My Story

I’d love to share a little from my heart with you.  Real Women True Beauty is more than beauty products for me.  It’s a calling.

There is a burden on my heart to share truth with women.  The lies breathed into our culture about who men and women should be and how they should respond to their circumstances are leaving us all frustrated.  I feel one of the biggest lies we succumb to is to place our worth in accomplishments and roles.  The problem is that those things don’t last.  When those things are gone we feel worthless.

Thankfully our worth doesn’t come from anything we do.  It comes from God our Creator who is constant, unchanging, and everlasting.  We will always have value because we were made by Him with a special individualized purpose.

So where do beauty products come into all of this?

I love skin care and beauty.  I grew up experimenting with makeup and hair styles with my sister and we still enjoy exchanging tips with each other.  It’s a girl thing.  I originally started my skin care and beauty business just to get my products at cost, have access to latest trends, and make a little extra money on the side.

I know not every woman is into makeup and hair, but I know every woman wants to feel confident.  Every person has skin.  I want women to feel they can be themselves in it.  Some of us like makeup and doing our hair, and some of us like to wash our face, run a brush through our hair, and call it good.  Beauty products shouldn’t be something we hide behind.  It shouldn’t be a mask under which we conceal ourselves.  It should just enhance who we already are.  We were made to shine!

Skin care and beauty is an opportunity to be an encouragement for women.  This business that started as something for myself, is now becoming an opportunity for new ministries.

How do I know my worth comes from my Creator?  God tells us in His Word that He had a plan written out for our lives before we were born.  He made us exactly the way we are for His special purpose:

“For it was You who formed my inward parts:  You knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are Your works; that I know very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes beheld my unformed substance.  In Your book were written all the days that were formed for me, when none of them as yet existed.”   Psalm 139:13-16

You are valued and loved!

Need more convincing?  Look up another one of my favorite passages:  Ephesians 2:10.
